| How We Are Funded |

In a day and age when residential care facilities can typically charge thousands of dollars a month per student, it seems ironic that it is often those who need the services the most, that are also the most unable to pay these horrendous costs. Therefore, The Father's Ranch Ministries does not charge for its services. Again, no student, parent or church is required to pay for the services we offer. However, there is obviously a considerable cost to running a residential counseling ministry the size and scope of TFR. Therefore, we would ask that if the family, or church, or friends, or sponsor, of the prospective student have the means to help offset the cost of their loved ones stay, that they would indeed do this. The typical cost of a student's stay at TFR is approximately $500-$700 per month. We will never turn away a prospective student due to lack of funds, nor will the lack of funds ever be factored in the application process. We are a faith ministry, trusting in the faithfulness of the Lord and the generosity of His people to provide for this ongoing work. We are solely supported by individuals and churches that believe in what we are doing and share the vision/burden for this work. We do ask (not require) that our students attempt to secure a "sponsor" that would be able to assist the student each month for the one year program duration, with the cost of personal items (toiletries) in the amount of $50 dollars a month so that these costs do not fall on the ministry itself. The Father's Ranch operates without accepting state or federal aid, insurance, Social Security or other disability funds, and does not solicit for its support. This ministry does not provide a salary for any of its employees, from the President to the Interns, and no one receives even as much as an occasional stipend. Each worker committed to serve in this ministry must trust in the providing hand of Providence to supply for their needs. Therefore, each dollar donated to The Father's Ranch goes directly to meet the needs of this ministry. |
