The Father's Ranch, I knew it was what I needed to do. I filled out an application, sent it in, and had an interview, all while I was still in the hospital. It is a gift from God that I got in when I did. The Lord showed compassion on me and provided the help that I needed. When I entered the program, I was thrown into God. He was everywhere and in everything we did. At the time we were going through the book of John in Bible class, and I began to be convicted and knew that I was not truly saved. I had not truly accepted the Lord as my Savior. At age 5 I had prayed the prayer because it was expected of me. I was nothing but a fake through the years. Going on mission trips, to youth groups, and other church activities were simply a way to get away from home. I prayed and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, this time for the right reasons. This is all humbling and makes me cling to Christ even more. He saved my life when I should have been dead. God is the only explanation of why I am alive. I am now off of all medications and am happier and healthier than I have ever been in my life. Many areas of my life are still being worked on, of course, but one thing is true: I will never run out of room to grow closer to Christ and I will never run out of reasons to thank and praise Him!
